The pressure is building on the Centre. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders reaching the North Block to meet the Union Home Minister, questioning the Centre on rising deaths of Amarnath pilgrims. Sushma Swaraj, senior leader, BJP, said, There are no medical facilities, no facilities for lodging and neither is there any place to take rest on the way. If that ropeway would have been made, then there wouldnt have been any requirement of a helicopter.

Even a physically challenged person and an aged person could have easily been a part of the Amarnath pilgrimage. But till date nothing has been done about that ropeway. TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami debates the issue with Rahul Easwar, Social Activist; Sunita Narain, Member of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board; Dr Jitendra Singh, BJP National Executive Member & J&K Chief Spokesperson; Harinder Sikka, MD, Piramal Systems & Technologies and Dr. Nitish Kumar Sengupta, Former IAS officer & Former MP, Lok Sabha.
